E.g., there is the underground train station Dortmund Universität of the local train S1 just 50m away.
When you arrive by train, take the exit Campus Süd/Eichlinghofen:

RB43: Dortmund Hbf → Dortmund-Bövinghausen Bf
Walk: 9 minutes
From Dortmund Hbf (city centre hotels):
- RB43: Dortmund Hbf → Dortmund-Bövinghausen Bf
Walk: 9 minutes
Getting back: Trains and buses run less often in the evening. In the evening, bus 462 only runs as far as Dortmund-Lütgendortmund (change there to the S4 to Dortmund Hbf), not back to the university. The RB43 runs from Bövinghausen to Dortmund Hbf. Last good connections: approx. [time] (RB43) and [time] (bus 462). Please check the VRR app before you set off.
