Description

RAPP 10 years Conference

In the 10-year celebration of RAPP, international speakers are invited to review knowledge on central questions that have driven scientists to do research together in the past 10 years of the RAPP Center, and the scientific extensions toward laboratory plasmas and AI will be addressed.

The conference will start with an opening reception at the Planetarium Bochum on Wednesday evening.
Please note: The registration for the reception and the premiere has to be done separately. You will receive an invitation for that.

On Thursday (full day) and Friday (morning), we will be in the conference room of the Bochum mining museum for the scientific talks and discussions.
The expected number of participants is about 200, talks are by invitation only.

Confirmed speakers are:

* Michael Schmelling (MPI Kernphysik)
* Mareike Haverkorn (Radboud University)
* Foteini Oikonomou (Norwegian University of Science and Technology)
* Anne Baczko (Chalmers University)
* Chris Parkes (University Manchester)
* Manami Sasaki (University Erlangen-Nürnberg)
* Teresa Bister (Radboud University)
* Martin Lemoine (Université Paris Cité)
* Màté Vass (RUB)
* Amal Saadallah (LAMARR Institute)

We aim to intensify discussions about the frontiers of plasma-, particle-, and astrophysics in order to enhance the collaboration within the renewed RAPP collaboratory and with our international friends even further.
