Early career researchers have many different roles: they are part of varying teams whilst, at the same time,
managing their projects, handling their career and personal lives. Developing a grasp on their own personality,
objectives and strengths as well as those of others helps them navigate group dynamics and contribute to a
respectful and productive work environment.
In this one and a half day workshop, participants learn about the stages in group dynamics in different team
constellations (e.g. homogenous or heterogenous) and how they impact the way teams work. The workshop
invites them to reflect on their own personality and strengths that they contribute to the team and to explore
the role they like to play in groups. At the same time, participants will learn techniques how to convene or
moderate groups to help create a respectful atmosphere in which synergies can be used to further the successful
teamwork towards the completion of their projects or studies.
The registration deadline is 4.11.24.
